This morning I read this passage from Psalm 40 and was so incredibly blessed by it. As I passed my eyes over the text, I began to get somewhat emotional because this scripture was a reminder of what God has done for us. Thank-you God for your love. We do not deserve it, but you offer it freely, thank-you.
Psalms 40:11-12
11 As for you, O LORD, you will not restrain
your mercy from me;
your steadfast love and your faithfulness will
ever preserve me!
12 For evils have encompassed me
beyond number;
my iniquities have overtaken me,
and I cannot see;
they are more than the hairs of my head;
my heart fails me.

Pics: Mexico Mission Trip with AMOR
Below are some fun pics from our Mission Trip, but before you get there you must check out some of what God did on the trip.
- God used the people to encourage one another in Jesus and the Gospel.
- The trip still happened w/ all the difficulties at the border.
- That there is joy found in serving God.
- God worked in peoples hearts to have them live out their love for Him.
- God used injuries to challenge people to do stuff they would have not done.
- God used our weaknesses to reveal His power.
- When we thought the trip could end God showed up and made it be one of the best trips ever.
- God took good care of the cooks and all the questions that came up.
- God used numerous servants in donations, prayer, and sacrifice who didn't even go on the trip.
- Relationships with family members were brought closer
- The relationship bonds that were made with God and friends were awesome.
- Eyes were opened to the poverty that is in Mexico and how God calls us to reach the lowly.
- Saw god use the next generation for His glory.
- Saw God use people to bless families in Mexico.
- Variety of generations were used (teens to Grandpa and Grandmas).
- Showed people how God can use them beyond this trip. That God also calls them to minister in Chico.
- How god prepared hearts spiritually.
- God gave strength to get the job time.
- God used the team to literally shine Jesus to a community in Mexico.
