Starting in August, the EFCC Student Ministries has hired an intern. We are pumped to have Tanner on staff with us! If you don't know Tanner, below is a video that will help you to get to know him a little better. Enjoy!

 

Video: Student Baptisms

Just in case you missed our beginning of the year party we decided to post the baptisms that took place that night.  What a special evening of watching kids, in obedience continue to follow Jesus.  We're thankful of what Jesus is doing in this ministry.  He rocks!

Want to help with snacks?

One of the things that we like to do is provide snacks for our Students on Tuesday nights at IMPACT.  Last semester (September - December 2012) we asked our parents if they would help provide these goodies every Tuesday.  The response was so awesome and worked so well that I was wondering if you would help us again?  

My hope is that we can get enough parents involved so that we can have a rotation going.  Hopefully the rotation will be once a month, but if we can get enough of you to help it could be once every other month.  If you are interested in helping with this please send an email to Brandon Dunn - BrandonDunn@ncchico.org He is overseeing and coordinating this for us.  He will reply to your email and I can give you further instructions.  Thanks.

Last night we began the year off with a bang.  The All Youth - Beginning of the year party was epic.  My favorite memory of the night was baptizing two of our students.  It is so cool to see Jesus followers be obedient and give an outward expression of an inward change.  It's awesome what God is doing.  Below are some pics from the evening.  Enjoy!

Yo Students, here is your Fall 2012 calendar so you don't miss anything! There are copies of this in the communication racks so help yourself! It's going to be a great rest of 2012.

Event: SrHi - Sky High

SrHi students! This one is for you, we are going to head down to Sacramento to go bounce off the walls of Sky High Sports: The Trampoline Place! You are not going to want to miss this fun! This event is going to be on Saturday, October 27th and we are going to meet at the church at 11:30 AM. 

To be able to go on this day trip, you are going to need to bring:

1. Signed EFCC Permission Slip (BY SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14TH. PLEASE!)

2. Signed Sky High Waiver (BY SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14TH. PLEASE!)

3. A Sack Lunch

4. $25 and, (BY SUNDAY, OCTOBER 14TH (we have extended this to 21st). PLEASE!)

5. A Friend!
